ScinergyIA arrived here in Kansas City for the World of Wheels 2005. Several Scions grouped together in the parking lot off Washington near Bartle Hall. Several key players of ScinergyKC were present, Danimal (Daniel Bredeman), Brooks and Mo. They met with Alex and the ScinergyIA chapter and wanted to start a chapter here in Kansas City. The first showing for ScinergyKC was June 05 - First Fridays at Smokin Joe's BBQ. About 20 Scions showed up for the event. The club has grown from this first showing. After the BBQ we met for the first Beach Ball concert, Pitch Music Awards, KCIR that fall was a blast and saw the first supercharged tC in Kansas City for the "night the buzz stole christmas concert" in Dec 2005. The club has participated in the All Scion Show held each spring in Ames IA, we travel to Springfield for the skate park show in the fall and we are always at home for the KCIR High School Drag and Import Face Off. We have had individuals travel out for the Roswell show and NOPI in St Louis. We have donated toys and hosted the holiday talent show for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City. As a club we have gone bowling, ice skating, picnics for the holidays, St Patrick's Day Parade, Snake Saturday Parade, Sugar Creek 4th of July Parade, Fast & the Furious at the drive in and arcading. We have a wonderful mix of cars, talent and people. ScinergyKC has developed into a mature car club and we are always open for new members!
